A lot of people would usually confuse trimming for pruning. To make matter clear, trimming involves cutting to shape a bush, hedge or a plant to meet a certain design while pruning aims to cut tangling, obstructing, diseased or infected branches or parts of the plant. Pruning is only mostly applied to plants and big trees.
Generally, pruning is a much more selective process by taking the whole structure of the tree into account. Cutting branches, twigs, roots, and, even buds all to meet an enhanced tree structure and condition for its own benefit. Pruning plants are actually fun because you get the chance to cut unnecessary parts that may also cause harm or spread the infection to other nearby plants. But the bigger the tree can sometimes present a more challenging job as the required tool would transform from a regular cutter to heavy-duty ones. If you are up for the challenge of pruning trees, it is very advisable to prepare the necessary tools such as saw, chainsaw, pick mattock, a shovel, digging bar, and an ax. Not to mention the necessary safety measure from ropes and ladders, dust mask, eye cover, gloves and, the proper suit just to name a few. But if pruning becomes harder and the risk becomes higher, a professional Tree Care Service is absolutely required to avoid a messy pruning experience. Why hire tree pruning services? I never knew that an arborist usually has the proper tools and experience to prune and take care of your trees. My uncle wants to make sure that his pine trees would grow long enough for his grandkids to see. I think visiting an expert that could do this for his trees regularly is a good idea.
